After over a year of torture with the toilet and bathroom, we’ve been informed that our new kitchen will be started soon. It will take around SIX weeks to put in, because they’re moving all the gas supply pipes over to the opposite side of the house and totally rebuilding the kitchen. The gas supply has only been on the outside wall of the house since it was built just after the war, but now, for some reason, it has to be relocated against the inside wall.
On top of this, our central heating is being replaced and all of my belongings have to be moved „away from work areas“. Errrm. They’re doing the whole house at the same time, so where am I supposed to put it all? In the garden?
