A big relief this morning to wake up and not be fed up with Arsenal. After an easy 2-0 win over Everton last night, including a good performance from Reyes and two headers by Campbell, everything looked brighter this morning.
I also got up to find some post waiting, in the shape of a late birthday present. Apart from a few other things, I was sent some old sweets that I haven’t had for a long time. Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles. I’d forgotten how good these were and I was half way through the packet before I realised it.
They took me back to my childhood (some would say I never left it).
