About an hour before I left the house, the sky darkened and it began to look like it would rain. I couldn’t believe it. I had intended to walk to the hospital, which takes about an hour, but now I was going to get soaked as well. I sat and watched the sky lighten a bit and then … it snowed. My favourite weather, but not when I have to go out in it!
I pulled my woolen hat on and set off in a biting wind to the hospital, getting snowed on twice on the way. After arriving, I removed the hat and squeezed the water out of it and had my examination, then I was snowed on again (twice) on the way home.
All this week we’ve been promised snow, but haven’t had any at all. Maybe I should arrange to go out again. 😉
