After many days with the rest of England getting snow, it finally arrived in East Anglia in a big way overnight. And guess what? As is typical in England, nobody was prepared. Roads were not gritted with rock salt and quickly became chaos and we’ve had quite a few accidents locally. The most amusing one (but not very funny I suppose) was the gritting lorry crashing into a pub after losing its grip on the road. Nobody was hurt, but it was an ironic thing to happen.
More snow is on the way tonight. I can’t wait.

Even in Switzerland where people should be used to snow there are still many cars equipped with summer tires. Every year it’s fun to view how they are gliding … 🙂
